All of the stated lamps have seen between a 20% - 40% reduction of consumption (non electronic ballast).
The E-box system enables a reduction in electromagnetic interference; it works by regulating the electrical operating magnitudes. The system consists of an electronically controlled static autotransformer that applies the principle of electromagnetic transformation (the no harmonics transformer principle).
E-box works by the processes of voltage optimisation, harmonic filtration and power factor correction. The combination of these 3 technologies add to the reduction in consumption; there is a subsequent reduction of wear and tear in the power supply lines, in the electrical components, in control panels and in the luminaries themselves.
This has the resultant effect of :
- Extended lamp life - up to 300%
- Less maintenance and associated labour cost
- Less bulb replacement
- Reduction in bulb disposal.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and electrical characteristics, the system can be installed anywhere onto a lighting distribution board without modifying existing installations, be they single or 3 phase. In cases where there are distribution boards of mixed power, E-box energy systems can undertake any preparatory work to prepare for installation.
After E-box has been installed, set up for operation and tested, it does not require any further maintenance or control work.
